Conditions Treated

Lympha Press® is designed to keep therapy moving forward.

Compression therapy can help reduce swelling and inflammation, improve blood flow and aid in drainage. Lympha Press Compression Therapy reduces the pain and swelling of edema in the legs from chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). The benefit of our Compression Therapy system is the compression and graduated compression levels it provides to the legs.

Compression therapy is a key element of the treatment regimen for lymphedema and venous insufficiency. Our systems are easy to use at home, maximizing patient compliance, while providing the adjustability needed to meet each patient’s unique condition. Constructed from sturdy non-stretch fabric, they are comfortable to wear every day while delivering gentle pressure as prescribed by your physician. The system can treat two extremities simultaneously, making it ideal for bilaterally affected patients.

External compression, or the use of pressure to force stagnant blood out of swollen veins and towards the heart, is the cornerstone of treatment for chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). It has long been known that active compression, such as that provided by Lympha Press devices replicates the effect of normal walking. In addition to providing compression and helping oxygenate the tissues, active compression also helps remove edema which promotes healing of venous stasis ulcers. Removing the stagnant edema allows for better nourishment and oxygenation of the tissues, and reduces swelling which will allow the borders of the chronic wounds to close.

Below are the conditions we treat:
